Jokerly in ChatGPT
Ask about your American mahjong rack in plain words or with a photo. Jokerly answers with the hands you're closest to, the three tiles to pass, or the joker rule that applies, and shows them in a card you can tap.

What it does and doesn't do
| Does | Doesn't |
|---|---|
| Count tiles away for every hand on your card, with jokers only where the rules allow | Ship any league's card or fill in hands from memory |
| Suggest Charleston passes (never a joker), with blind-pass hints on last passes | Play for you or see other players' racks |
| Check joker swaps against the standard rules | Keep score or handle money |
| Keep your card's hands privately, until you delete them | Store your photos (ChatGPT reads them; Jokerly gets tile codes) |
Questions
- What is Jokerly?
- An American mahjong helper inside ChatGPT. It counts how many tiles away your rack is from each hand on your card, suggests Charleston passes and checks whether a joker swap is legal.
- Is the counting done by ChatGPT?
- No. ChatGPT reads your photo and words; Jokerly's rules engine does the counting, the pass search and the joker rules, the same way every time.
- Which card does it use?
- Yours. Jokerly ships no league's card. Type or photograph your card's hands once and Jokerly keeps them privately for you. Until then it uses its own practice hands.
- What if ChatGPT misreads a tile?
- Jokerly lists every tile it received. Tap a tile in the card to fix it and the counts update at once, or tell ChatGPT the right tiles.
- Can I delete my saved card?
- Yes. Say “Delete my Jokerly card”; it is deleted at once. Jokerly keeps nothing else about you.
